Pierce Chapel is hosting a Disaster Response and Chainsaw Safety Training course in the Barn on August 16 from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Volunteers will learn the safety protocols and techniques for performing chainsaw cleanup work following a disaster. This is a hands on training which includes how to safely maintain the equipment and personal protection. Breakfast, snacks, and sandwich lunch will be provided.
